Project Winter celebrates 2.5 million players with new craftable items and price drop

Over 2.5 million survivors across all platforms have braved the cold in Project Winter, the eight-person social deception survival game. To celebrate, developer Other Ocean released a free content update today adding new craftable items for traitors as well as a permanent price drop to $9.99 USD.

Traitors can plan even more devious betrayals with four new items now available for crafting. The disguise kit allows a traitor’s only change in appearance to look exactly like another character, dead or alive. There is no way to change voices in-game, so be careful when speaking.

Take advantage of the freezing cold of the tundra by creating ice bombs. Similar to Smoke Bombs, these chilling explosives not only create a cloud of smoke to obscure vision, but also quickly reduce the heat of survivors.

Turn the white sleet under a person’s feet into a silent cloud with disposable snowshoes. Eliminate any traces of footprints or the loud crunch of snow footsteps with increased movement speed for a short time.

Keep the survivors away from the rest of the party with the sound emitter. This sinister trap emits audio clips for a short duration and a very long distance before eventually self-destructing.

This free update also includes changes to the user interface, removal of the ability to see characters who have voted in the Exile Stand, increased maximum number of roles in matches, among other improvements to life quality.
